Colonel Abdullah Salem Al Dheeb, Head of the Air Wing Section, decorated the promoted officers from Sharjah Air Wing of the Ministry of Interior with their new badges, based on the Federal Decree No. 106/2012. The promoted officers are Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Abdullah Al Kaabi, Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Salem Bin Youkha, Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Ibrahim Lootah, Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Abdullah Al Mil, and Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Saif Hamid.
The Head of Sharjah Air Wing Section congratulated the promoted officers, confirming that they deserve these new ranks, which increase their responsibilities towards their country. He urged them to redouble their efforts and work hard to live up to this responsibility. He also explained that these promotions are more a delegation of new tasks than a ceremony to only honor the achievement.
For their part, the promoted officers lauded the well-cherished trust of the Higher Leadership saying they would be worthy of this confidence extended to them. They assured the attendees that they will exert all their efforts to the advancement of police work and security in order to serve this dear country.
Finally, Colonel Abdullah Salem Al Dheeb decorated twenty officers and non-commissioned officers of the Sharjah Air Wing Section with the Excellent Long Service Medals and the Excellent Short Service Medals, according to Ministerial Decision No. 617/2012. Moreover, the Air Wing Team participating in the 5th Police and Community Championship was honored on the occasion of winning first place and runner-up in the championship, recently organized by the Police Sports Association in Ajman.
