Shaabiah Police Station participates in Pink October Campaign
The Community Police Branch at Al Shaabiah Police Station of the Capital Police Directorate in the closing ceremony of the campaign against breast cancer "Pink October", under sponsorship of the Health Authority and a number of government and private sector institutions and agencies.
The Community Police participation is represented in awareness campaign to educate the public on the disease, especially mothers and how to carry out periodical examinations and the importance of Mammogram scanning by ladies whose ages are above 40. They also distributed awareness brochures and booklets about the early detection of breast cancer where its treatment will be very easy.
The Branch participated in an early time in the celebrations of World day of Vision, where the personnel of the Unit distributed awareness brochures and booklets to the public in shopping centers and inviting them to free eye tests. They advise the public on how to maintain their vision safety.
