Search and Rescue Teams Leaders conference concludes
The International Conference of Search and Rescue Teams Leaders concluded its sessions at the Intercontinental Hotel, Abu Dhabi on Thursday. Representatives from four UN Organizations, UN Search and Rescue Organization, ADP Senior Officers and 80 persons from 34 countries representing Search and Rescue Teams Leaders participated in the Conference.
Major Mohammad Abdul Jaleel Al Anssari, Chairman of the Organizing Committee said "The Conference sessions have discussed the psychological impact of disasters on rescue men and how to cure them at the short and long run".
"A presentation on the Emirates Search and Rescue Team has been delivered, to introduce the Team since its set up, its tasks, methods and mechanisms of its work and its technical equipment and advanced devices it uses", added Al Anssari.
