Saif bin Zayed receives U.S Ambassador
Lt. General H. H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior received in his office here today the outgoing U.S. Ambassador to UAE Richard J. Olson, who called to mark the end of his tenure in the country.
Sheikh Saif wished him success in his next task, praising his role in boosting the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
For his part, the U.S. envoy thanked the UAE officials for their cooperation during his tenure in the country, referring to the position of the UAE regionally and internationally due to the wise policies of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting Sheikh Saif and Olson discussed the cooperation ties and a number of common issues of interest between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Major General Nasser Lekhrebani Al Nuaimi, secretary general of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minster and Minster of Interior, Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, director general of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, director general of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police and Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, director general of Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police.
