Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, met with two officials from Singapore and Germany.

Sheikh Saif met separately with S. Lswaran, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office of Singapore, the Second Minister for Home Affairs and Second Minister for Trade and Industry.

During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing them. A number of issues of common concern, especially in the areas of security and economic development, have also been discussed.

Sheikh Saif also met with the Hans-Joachim Otto, Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology in Germany, accompanied by a delegation including Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to the UAE, Mr. Frank Neumann, and representatives of major German companies operating in the areas of security and information security.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen the excellent bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Federal Republic of Germany, and consolidating it in various fields, to serve the national interests of both countries.

Present were Major General Khalifa Harib Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Resources and Support Services, and Major General Mohammad Bin Al Awadhi Menhali, Director General of Police Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police, Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director - General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police.
