Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, was awarded an Appreciation Certificate by the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC at his office on Monday. The certificate recognizes the support that the Ministry of Interior provided to the UAE Students Forum that took place in the United States of America.
His Highness, Sheikh Saif binZayed Al Nahyan received the Certificate from Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Salah Obeid Al Ghoul, Director of Law Respect Culture Bureau at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior, who pointed out the significance of participating in all regional and international events that contribute to the promotion of social and legal awareness.
The Ministry has participated in this event, ever since it was launched three years ago.
Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Salah Obeid Al Ghoul presented a lecture at the most recent UAE Students Forum, which was held in the United States of America under the title, “The Culture of Law Respect and Positive Interaction”. The lecture was attended by more than one thousand students, and focused on the concept of respecting the law, and emphasized how Emirati students in the US should behave properly, as they are responsible for representing the UAE abroad.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of His Highness the Minister; and Lt. Colonel Dr. Hamoud AlAfari, Deputy Director of the Law Respect Culture Bureau.
