Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, met with Brigadier Eng. Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director General of Traffic and Patrol Directorate, Abu Dhabi Police, and Nasser Aziz Al Sharifi, Director of Centers of the Ministry of Interior for the Rehabilitation and Employment of People with disabilities, where they both gave His Highness the two awards won by the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, in the fifth edition of the annual Khalifa Award for Education.
While His Highness praised the teams’ efforts which led to the winning of the two awards; Brigadier Eng. Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi and Nasser Aziz Al Sharifi commended the distinguished work atmosphere provided by Abu Dhabi Police which allowed the Traffic and Patrol Directorate to win the Khalifa Award for Education 2012 in the category of Society Service and Education for its project: Employing education and awareness to achieve sustainable traffic safety in Abu Dhabi; and allowed the Ministry of Interior Al-Ain Centers for the Rehabilitation and Employment of People with disabilities to win the same award in the Institutions and Centers category.
The meeting was attended by Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the office of His Highness, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior; Brigadier General Ali Khalfan Al Daheri, Director General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier General Mansour Ahmed Ali Al Daheri, Director General of Ministry of Interior Affairs, Secretariat General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; and Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the General Secretariat of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
