Saaed, the traffic system company, announced that it will participate in the “Occupational Safety and Health Month.” The April event is organized by the Emirates Transport of Abu Dhabi. In line with Abu Dhabi's vision to achieve zero road deaths by 2030, Emirates Transport will organize an awareness program in Urdu for school bus drivers in order to enhance road safety measures.
Eng. Khamis Al Naqbi, Head of Road Support in Saaed, said that child safety is the first priority of Saaed traffic awareness plans. “Taking part in the Occupational Safety and Health Month is an effort to develop the level of our children’s safety in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi,” he explained.
He said: “The lectures will focus on the duties and behaviors required from motorists to maintain students’ safety and limit accidents resulting from carelessness or lack of knowledge of the general safety requirements regarding students aboard school buses.”
