Riot Control trainees graduated in Al Ain
The Security Inspection Section “k9” in Al Ain has celebrated graduation of 10 Police Dog Trainers from a two-week Riot Control Training Course.
The ceremony was attended by Lt. Colonel Jamal Jumaa Habash, Director of ADP Security inspection department, 1st Lt. Ghareeb Rashid Salim, head of Security inspection Section in Al Ain and 1st Lt. Saleem Nasseeb Al Shamsi, Director of Special tasks Branch at the Section.
Lt. Colonel Jamal said “The course is organized in collaboration with the French Police with a view to promote the skills of Police Dog Trainers, so as to carry out their duties of drugs and explosives detection and crime combat efficiently”.
The course instructors were experts from the French Police Dog Unit. The course was the first of its type in the Region. It included practical training on riot dispersion in a similar real situation.
At the end of the ceremony Lt. Colonel Jamal together with Captain Mani Kiken and 1st Lt. Kristove Choir from the French Police gave away certificates to the graduated trainees.
