Ports and Airports Security Department at Abu Dhabi Police team won the Police competition of Tug of War sport organized by Strategy and Performance Department at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarter. The event was organized at the Abu Dhabi Corniche with the participation of 80 participants from 8 teams that represent General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police.
The Governmental and Diplomatic Facilities Protection Department came second, and Al Ain Police Directorate came third.
Major Muhammad Obaid Al Falahi, from Strategy and Performance Development Department, stressed the keenness of Abu Dhabi Police in supporting all sports activities of its staff. He noted the importance of promoting the spirit of fair competition between participants in different sports event organized by Abu Dhabi Police. He explained that the competition demonstrated the level of fitness of participating staff.
The winning teams were recognized by Al Falahi, who commended their performance and urged them to make more efforts in terms of their physical fitness due to its importance in their lives.
The competition witnessed the participation of Al Ain and al Garbiyah Police Directories, Governmental and Diplomatic Facilities Protection Department, Ports and Airports Security Department, Emergency and Public Safety, Operations, Information and Communications Technology, and Punitive Reformatory Establishments.
