Colonel Saif Ali Al Ketbi, Police College Director General recently honored 23 distinguished employees at the Police College. The ceremony held at the Al Ittihad Hall, marked the International Workers’ Day that is celebrated on May 1st annually, under the slogan “Our Workers … Thank You.” The event was attended by Colonel Abdullah Saeed Al Dhaheri, Head of Specialized Training Department at the General Authority for the Security of Ports, Borders, in addition to department heads, section chiefs, and a number of Police College officers.
Colonel Al Ketbi pointed out that the Police College administration honoring of its distinguished employees on the International Workers’ Day coincides with the UAE celebrations of the event. “The honoring recognizes the employees’ powerful efforts that effectively help in providing best services at institutions and authorities during work hours.” Colonel Al Ketbi said.
Furthermore, Colonel Al Ketbi commended the idea of organizing the ceremony as it highlights the commitment and interest of the Police College administration in its distinguished employees. He also explained that such ceremonies evaluate the distinguished efforts of the employees. Colonel Al Ketbi expressed his gratitude to the Relations and Guidance Section at the Police College for organizing the ceremony.
For his part Major Mohammed Butti Al Shamesi, Chief of Relations and Guidance Section said that the honoring initiative falls within the framework of the Section's yearly plan that manifests the MoI Strategy which aims to strengthen the ties with the internal audience.
Concluding the ceremony, Colonel Al Ketbi, accompanied by department heads, took some group commemorative photos with the honored employees.
