New batch of Mounted Riot Police graduates
Major General Mohammad Jumaa Al Darmaki, Director General of Establishments Protection attended the graduation ceremony of mounted riot police trainees.
The ceremony was held at the training square of the Special Tasks Department. The ceremony opened with a demonstration of dispersing and controlling a riot by mounted riot police. The demonstration included the protection of VIPs.
In his speech Al Darmaki praised the distinguished and advanced techniques used by the graduates in controlling riots. He urged the graduates to continue developing and promoting their performance in accordance with ADP GHQ tactics. According to Lt. Colonel Rashid Suhail Said, Director of Special Tasks Department this course is a practical application of riots control tactics. The mounted riot police was an important tool for supporting order maintenance operations and VIPs protection. His Department spares no effort in seeking excellence through continuous training of its personnel.
