Modern technologies for security guard

The Permanent Committee of Diplomatic Corpses held its first meeting for 2010, on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by Brigadier Faris Khalifa Al Farsi, Director General of ADP Security Guard and Special Tasks. The meeting comprised members from ADP GHQ, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other Security Agencies.

The meeting reviewed joint cooperation between different security agencies and the Ministry of Foreign affairs. They also discussed unification of diplomatic facilities guarding concepts and use of modern systems to raise guarding and security levels, such as automatic alarm system and installation of CCTV in those facilities.

The present also discussed running of Rapid Reaction Patrols in Abu Dhabi Emirate to serve Diplomatic Sector. Other issues discussed included security requirements and special measures that Diplomatic Mission should take to facilitate police task in providing security and safety for them, in response to the directives of Police Leadership.
