MoI seeks to modernize fingerprint electronic systems
In a coordinative meeting, departments’ directors and sections’ heads of fingerprint at police general commands across the UAE discussed the future trend in modernizing fingerprint electronic systems and use of latest software versions and editions.
The meeting was held at the headquarters of Ajman Police General Command and headed by Colonel Yaqoub Abu Laya, director of Information and Criminal Records at the Directorate General of Criminal Security, Ministry of Interior.
Participants were briefed on the statistics and indicators related to the system.
The meeting was attended by Major Yassir Mohammed Al Wahhabi, director of electronic infrastructure and those in charge of fingerprint departments and sections in the police commands at the countrywide level.
