The Permanent Higher Committee of the Ministry of Interior, concerned with crises and disaster management, held its regular meeting at the Police Officers Club, presided by Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far, Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Permanent Higher Committee.
The meeting covered various topics listed on the agenda, among which the most remarkable achievements of the Council, as well as its current work methodology.
The meeting was attended by Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai Police Commander in Chief and Deputy Chairman of the Committee; Major General Obied Al Hiri Salem Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander General of the Abu Dhabi Police; Humaid Mohammed Al Hudaidi, Sharjah Police Commander- in Chief; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police; Major General Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Acting Commander General of Dubai Civil Defense; Major General Khamis Saif bin Suwaif , Director General of Criminal Security at the Ministry of Interior; Major General Abdul Aziz Maktoum Al-Shareefi, Director of the Protective Security Department in the Ministry of Interior; and Major General Dr. Jasim Mohammed Bal Rumaitha, Director General of Dubai Police Operations, alongside commanders and general directors of the Higher Committee.
The Permanent Higher Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management was established as per the Ministerial Decree 152 of 2010, which stipulates forming the council and working in accordance with the permanent higher committee work guide at the Ministry of Interior.
