As part of the Emirati students Forum in the USA, the Abu Dhabi Police participated with a paper presented by Lt Colonel Dr. Salah Al Ghoul, Director of the Law Respect Culture Bureau affiliated with the Secretariat- General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minster and Ministry of Interior.
The forum themed “students of today… leaders of tomorrow” was organized by the UAE Embassy in Washington.
“The participation of the Ministry of Interior in the forum is part of the ministry's keenness to support the students on scholarships abroad, and communicate with them closely to instill confidence in them and consolidate the feeling that their country, at the highest levels, follows up their conditions and awaiting the moment they graduate and return successfully to build their future and serve the United Arab Emirates”, he said.
He added that the lecture has dealt with the most important points which help improve the legal awareness among the students so that they are able to carry on and serve the nation and its lofty invariables.
It also focused on the most important factors that contribute to the weakening of their immunity in the face of the multiple pressures, such as ignoring of the laws, young age and failure to merge in the new environment.
He called on students to respect the laws of the host country in order to be ambassadors for their country in a way reflects the level of civilization and prosperity enjoyed by the UAE at various levels.
