MoI Electronic Infrastructure Department gets ISO
The Department of Electronic Infrastructure of MoI Directorate General of Electronic Services and Telecommunications has received Global Quality Certificate (ISO 9001 – 2008), from Lloyds Register Quality Assurance, as part of phase one of MoI Departments Qualification Project for implementation of Total Quality Management System. The Department concerned has completed documentation of work procedures and meeting all requirements for implementation of Total Quality Management System standards.
Major Yaser Mohammad Al Wahabi, Director of Electronic Infrastructure Department has affirmed that quality is a continuous process according to certain methodology, with a view to make improvement and promotion a continuous process. The aim is not to achieve quality but to maintain quality and excellence.
Getting the ISO Certificate by the Department of Electronic Infrastructure comes within the implementation of the Directorate General of Electronic Services and Telecommunications strategy and implementation of best global practices, which achieve our strategic objectives in development, modernization and pioneering, in respect of MoI electronic services quality and excellence.
