The Strategy and Performance Development General Department in the Ministry of Interior organized a partnership guidelines workshop. A large number of work teams from different sectors in the ministry attended the workshop that was held at the Police Officers’ Club in Abu Dhabi.
In his opening speech, Colonel Aziz Hamoud Al Ameri, Director of Strategy and Performance Development Department highlighted the importance of the Partnership Department in the ministry to achieve its strategic goal, which is to work with partners through the department’s awareness of providing high level services to enhance security and safety. He also highlighted the importance of organizing and improving work collaboration in line with the Ministry’s 2011-2013 strategy that complements the Federal Government’s strategy.
He urged attendees to benefit from the workshop by applying partnerships in different sectors of the Ministry of Interior, developing the current and new partnerships to avail the qualifications, systems, and capabilities to provide the best services to the public.
Captain Saeed Saleh Al Junaibi, Head of the Partnership Department in the Strategy and Performance Development General Department in the Ministry, explained the partnership guidelines, the importance of partnerships in the Ministry of Interior, and partnership guidelines structure, which is composed of two main parts: partnerships governance and partnerships management.
He also clarified the purpose of the partnership guidelines and its modules to start the application process in different sectors of the ministry. The work teams taking part in the workshop conducted practical exercises.
