The Ministry of Interior has adopted the operational plan for 2013, related to the strategic objectives of the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Department; recently approved by Major General Nasser Al Awadi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs.
The strategic planning team at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs in Abu Dhabi tackled and approved the operational initiatives for the coming year, in a meeting held at the Directorate’s headquarters, headed by Colonel Salim Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Colonel Yousuf Mohamed Al Khouri, Deputy General Manager; as well as a number of officers from the various departments involved with the implementation of these initiatives. The meeting also discussed the operational plan of the current year.
Colonel Al Zaabi emphasized the police leadership's keenness to support and follow up on all developmental processes of the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Department. He urged concerned entities to comply with the operational plan and to facilitate the task of the work teams; in order to achieve the desired objectives, wishing success to all.
For his part, Major Talal Sultan Al Ali, Head of Strategy and Performance Development, gave a brief explanation on the initiatives’ operational plan; duration and technical details, as well as the mechanisms of work and distribution of roles and tasks on the competent authorities, involved in the implementation of these initiatives.
The initiatives focused on developing client services, motivating employees and communicating with community members.
