The Permanent Higher Committee of Projects and Modern Technologies at the Ministry of Interior discussed the accomplishments of it subcommittees including the challenges and development methods of the committees’ work in its last meeting. The meeting was headed by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.

The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the General Command of the Abu Dhabi Police, was attended by directors of subcommittees who addressed the activation and integration of some technical systems. The attendees also discussed solutions for improvement opportunities to enhance developmental efforts. They presented the methods of evaluating members of Permanent Higher Committee and subcommittees.

Major General Al Raisi assured the importance of the Higher Committee and its subcommittees in enhancing security and police work. He invited the members to redouble their efforts in the coming stage to achieve more seamless developmental work methods and fulfill the goals and visions of police commandment.

A total of 14 subcommittees follow the Higher Committee; these subcommittees are specialized in electronic services such as setting standards to approve monitoring systems, developing systems and techniques for the operation and communication rooms in addition to the GIS. The job of these subcommittees is also to raise the level of services and systems of Naturalization and Residency Department, as well as smart traffic systems, Interpol security systems, and forensic information systems to name a few.  All the subcommittees work in harmony and apply the latest technologies to provide better police services.
