In a ceremony held in his office, Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, awarded 13 ADP officers with their new ranks. The officers, from the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior, were promoted in accordance with the Ministerial Decree No. 440 for the year 2013.
Major General Al Nuaimi congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to exert further efforts in discharging their duties. He also called on them to develop and hone their competencies through training and keeping abreast of the latest developments in their respective fields, in order to boost police work, as per the standards of leadership and excellence.
Addressing the promoted officers, he said: “This promotion represents a turning point for excellence; a greater challenge towards bearing responsibility; and an incentive for further achievements. It also aims to enhance the security and stability enjoyed by the country, to safeguard the nation’s achievements, and improve the quality of police services; as per the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s strategic development plan.”
For their part, the promoted officers, expressed their happiness for this recognition, stressing that it represents an incentive for them to develop their performance and promote police work.
The ceremony, which was held at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, was attended by Brigadier Mohammad Rashid bin Kasheem Al Shamsi, Head of the Diwan Department at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ; Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; as well as a number of officers.
