Heavy vehicles banned on Abu Dhabi - Dubai road from Tuesday
The Traffic and Licensing department of Abu Dhabi Police have banned the trucks and other heavy vehicles from plying on Abu Dhabi - Dubai road from Tuesday.
The trucks over 2.5 tone capacity that are coming from Dubai now will have to take the new route towards seah shaib bridge on Alfaih road and those coming from Tariff and going towards Dubai have to take the truck road from the block factory bridge to Alfaiah road.
And those coming from Almagtah bridge and Musafah have to take the truck road until the blocks factory bridge and go towards Alfaih road.
Those coming from Dubai to Abu Dhabi have to take the Seah Shaib bridge towards Alfaih road.
The truck owners those who may have to enter these restricted areas due to some unavoidable reasons are advised to obtain prior permission from the Traffic and licensing department for the same.
