Lt. General, H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, commended the heartfelt efforts exerted by the Omani brothers in providing care for the victims of the recent traffic accidents that occurred in the Sultanate of Oman. His Highness also praised the cooperation and competence of the traffic and medical Omani entities; whose efficiency and high quality performance contributed in reducing the number of casualties; thanks to the speedy rescue of the injured and immediate transfer to the Sultan Qaboos hospital, where everyone enjoyed the highest levels of care and attention.
His Highness expressed his sincere regret at the occurrence of such incidents, extending his sympathy and solace to the families of the victims and injured. He also praised the sincere brotherly support of the Omanis; which emphasizes the unity of the peoples and governments of the GCC countries, and their deep cohesion through thick and thin.
Moreover, H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed applauded the efforts of the Omani police bodies, who rushed to the accidents’ sites to rescue the injured, as well as the efforts exerted by the Omani medical personnel, by providing the injured with the needed medical assistance before rushing them to the finest hospital in the Sultanate, to undergo necessary treatment, prior to being transferred to their home countries, near their families, to complete treatment.
It is noteworthy that recent traffic accidents suffered by UAE Nationals within the Sultanate of Oman have resulted in seven deaths and 12 various injuries.
