The Police College celebrated the graduation of 36 police officers from the various sectors of the Ministry of Interior. The graduates completed two specialized courses, namely; “Modern Methods of Team Building and Team Spirit Development” and “Human Resources Management”. The two courses were organized by the Officers Training Institute at the Police College from 3 to 7 February.
 
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Salim Saeed Al Miqbali, Acting Director General of Police College; Lt. Colonel Dr. Ahmad Ali Alkhzimi, Director of the Officers’ Training Institute; along with department directors, heads of sections and officers from the Police College.

In his address, Colonel Al Miqbali stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to develop its human cadre, in line with its training plan to keep pace with current developments. This comes in line with the directives of the police leadership to promote and enhance the training system; and to qualify and hone the skills of the Ministry of Interior’s officers.

He indicated that the “Modern Methods of Team Building and Team Spirit Development” course, aims to develop the knowledge and capacities of participants on the importance of team work to achieve outstanding performance, and attain the individual, collective and institutional goals. As for the “Human Resources Management” course, it aims to develop the knowledge and competencies of participants and acquaint them with  the foundations, principles and theories of human resources management; and how to implement them to develop professional  skills related to   human resources management  in government institutions.

At the end of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to the graduates of the two sessions.
