Colonel Mohammed Humaid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, General Manager, Strategy and Performance Development at the General Secretariat of the Office of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, said that the plans and strategies implemented by the Ministry aim to stimulate creativity among recruits, noting that this comes in implementation of the directives of the police leadership aiming to support continuous development in order to reach to the desired goals in developing skills as per the highest quality and excellence standards.

Al Dhaheri’s statement came during the graduation ceremony of 18 Ministry of Interior Officers in “Setting Plans and Performance Indicators” course at the Police Academy, organized by Officers Training Institute.

The ceremony held at Al Etihad Hall was attended by Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Khuzaimi, Director of Officers Training Institute; a number of department directors; and officers from the Academy and Training Institute.

The course aimed to develop knowledge, abilities and skills of participants in relation to setting plans, measuring effectiveness of planning through performance indicators, and identifying the concepts, elements and components of the administrative process, in addition to developing effective planning skills and decision-making, as well as assessing and measuring the effectiveness of planning and identifying and developing institutional performance indicators.

The participants in the course attended a number of theoretical and practical lectures, besides group discussions, and sessions including role playing and brainstorming, along with micro sessions.
