The Capital Police Directorate celebrated the graduation of 24 staff members from Al Khalidiya Police Station after completing the “Crime Prevention Techniques” course and the “Criminal Interrogation” course.

In his speech at the graduation ceremony, Brigadier General Salem Shahin Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director of the Capital Police Directorate, stressed the importance of these courses in developing police work. He also reminded the participants of the need to implement the training applications they acquired during these courses in their respective work fields, in order to achieve maximum benefit. He pointed out the Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to develop the skills of staff members as per the training plan, which keeps pace with existing developments. “This approach embodies the police leadership’s instructions to constantly advance the training system, by honing the police staff members’ skills,” he said.

Towards the end of the ceremony, Brigadier Al Nuaimi distributed certificates to the graduates in the presence of Colonel Muslim Mohammed Al Ameri, Head of the Khalidiya Police Station; Lieutenant Colone Hamad Al Affari, Chief of Administrative Affairs Section; Major Rashid Al Shamesi, Crime Affairs Director ; and a number of officers.

It is worth mentioning that the “Crime Prevention Techniques” course tackled the modern methods and tools used to prevent crime, and their application by police staff members. The “Criminal Interrogation” course tackled the methods of interrogating suspects and analyzing body language in criminal investigations.
