The Al Ain Traffic Institute of the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate celebrated on Thursday morning, the graduation of 11 officers after completing a four-week course on the “Basics of Traffic and Patrols for Officers”. The course covered a number of topics, namely;   traffic accidents; the skills of dealing with the public; the accident scene management; and the Traffic Law.

Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Salem Al Mahri, Head of Al Ain Traffic Institute of the Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Patrols Directorate indicated that the graduates received training on on theoretical and scientific applications, outlining the proper process governing traffic patrol members work. This would enhance and develop their police competencies and contribute to promote traffic safety in society, based on the best standards and developed applications. Moreover, Al Mahri  underscored  the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’ role to  provide  its members with training courses  and qualified trainers; in line with its  strategy to  guarantee the  safety of  society from traffic accidents.

At the end of the ceremony, Head of the Al Ain Traffic Institute praised the efforts of the graduates and the extent of their response to the course’s programs and urged them to apply the knowledge they acquired in their work, and to keep developing their skills.  Concluding, Lt. Colonel Al Mahri distributed certificates to the graduates and posed for a commemorative photo with them.
