Acting Director-General of Civil Defence at Abu Dhabi Police, Col. Humaid Saeed Humaid confirmed that arriving at the incident scene as quick as possible to rescue people and property is one of the top priorities of Civil Defence.
These remarks were made during the reception of the French civil defence delegation headed by deputy commander of Firemen Squad in Paris.
Ways of strengthening cooperation and coordination in areas of civil defence have been discussed at the meeting. A documentary film about the services provided by protection and safety department to the public, has also been screened.
For his part, Col. Jumaa Salem Al Mualla, director of operations at ADP Civil Defence, briefed the visiting delegation on the organizational structure of departments, sections, stations affiliated to the Civil Defence Directorate General. He explained their roles and duties, and the best equipment they use to carry out such duties.
He accompanied the visiting delegation to the customer service center where they were informed of the best services provided to the members of the public.
