Embassy of the Philippines Appreciates Correctional Establishment care for its subjects
Brigadier Yusuf Abdul Kareem, Director of Correctional and Punitive establishment Department received a delegation from the Philippines Embassy. The delegation was led by HE Grays Relucio Princess Ambassador of Philippines to UAE. The visit was part of the Department’s keenness to coordinate with different Diplomatic Missions to brief them on the conditions of their inmate subjects.
Brigadier Yusuf presented to the delegation a detailed explanation of the services, programmes and facilities of his Department for the inmates. He also briefed them on the conditions and circumstances of Philippine inmates and their requirements. Members of the delegation expressed their admiration and appreciation of the treatment that the inmates receive and the supervising staff.
At the end of the visit a commemorative gift was given to the Ambassador who thanked them for their warm welcome and hospitality.
