Community police interacts with mothers at Corninche hospital

Community police unit at the Al Medina Police Station has earlier paid a visit to Corninche Hospital in Abu Dhabi to educate mothers.

The awareness visit themed “your baby is safe, the community is safe”, focused on the safety and health of children in general and on the newborns in particular.

“The visit aims at enlightening mothers with the importance of babies’ health, and how they can maintain it through giving vaccination in time, and not using medicines without prescription”, said Captain Hamad Rakan Al Rashedi, head of the community police branch, pointing out that medicines should be kept out of the children’s reach.

The community police team visited the mothers at their rooms, and presented flowers and prizes to them, as well as brochures containing information about the healthy food for babies during their different periods of growth.
