A large number of citizens visited the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s wing at the Tawdheef Recruitment Fair held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). Citizens expressed their desire to enroll in the police institution, and filed electronic job applications, assisted by members from the Selection and Recruitment Section at Abu Dhabi Police Human Resources Department.
Brigadier General Obaid Salem Blehblah Al Kitbi, Head of the Selection and Recruitment Section at Abu Dhabi Police Human Resources Department explained that attracting qualified skillful citizens to work in Abu Dhabi Police is a priority in the Human Resources Department’s strategic plans. These plans focus on the optimal use of human resources to implement international-best practices, to increase human resources in the front lines; support the delivery of services and fulfill police duties to meet the needs of Abu Dhabi Police of qualified and competent staff.
Al Kitbi indicated that the Abu Dhabi Tawdheef Recruitment Fair 2013 provides Abu Dhabi Police with the opportunity to acquaint job-seekers with available career opportunities and motivate them to enroll, to provide efficient services to the public in line with Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to facilitate the rapid processing of citizens and residents’ transactions.
Concluding, he added that Abu Dhabi Police endeavors to motivate its personnel to pursue further creativity and innovation, so as to develop and improve the quality of services. It also strives to enhance its staff’s efficiency, in accordance with international-best standards, to develop operational performance.
