Annual Forum for women to be held in Al Ain
Police Officers in Al Ain will organize next Wednesday and Thursday the year-long Annual Forum for Women.
Lieutenant. Colonel. Harib Al Kheli, said that the forum, first time to be organized in Al Ain, come in the framework of the Abu Dhabi Police strategy which aims to enhance communication with all the segments of the society, in as much as it establishes the values of family cohesion, social solidarity, and promotes public confidence in the police.
“Al Ain Businesswomen Branch, a participant at the Forum, will present promotional offers for the innovate ladies who are licensed by the Council”, pointed out Lt. Col Al Kheli.
Other participants include Al Ain Club for Handicapped which will distribute pamphlets on its role in the society, and Al Ain Government Hospital which will organize awareness lectures on diabetes as well as free medical examinations.
The Forum, added Al Kheli, will include chess contests for women and children, and other religious, educational, health and social activities. The girls of Al Laalia Model School will deliver an oparet and exhibit art works.
Afraa Salem Al Shamesi, social supervisor at the Club, said: the Nursery Section at the ADP Clubs and Sports Activities Department will promote for the nursery to be opened for the police force in Al Ain.
