In line with the traffic awareness plan launched by the Traffic and Patrols Directorate in Abu Dhabi Police; the Traffic and Patrols Section in Al Ain of the Directorate organized an awareness program for drives in Emirates Transport in Al Ain on traffic accidents that occur due do sudden turns. The program was attended by 64 drivers.
Captain Rashid Al Shamesi, Acting Branch Manager of Public Relations in Al Ain Traffic Section, stressed in a lecture organized in line with the program, the importance of paying attention while driving, noting that a lot of traffic accidents happen because of lack of attention.
He affirmed that drivers must use signals as they are the language that drivers use on roads, saying that this will help avoid traffic accidents that may occur due to sudden turn. He noted that drivers should use signals when they want to change the track or make turns.
Al Shamesi called upon drivers to adhere to speed limits in order to save lives and properties, asserting that such advises come in line with efforts aiming to limit the causes of serious accidents that result in deaths and serious injuries through spreading traffic awareness, and extend advises that would promote traffic culture of drivers throughout the year.
