Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police, urged the two batches of recruits and university degree holders in the Police College, who will graduate next February, to multiply their efforts to serve the nation and to bear the burdens and the missions of the police objectives, as well as to be responsible for police work in its various fields. 

He pointed out that the college’s program focused on the best-in-class, most advanced academic, and practical police work, so that the students can become fully prepared to perform their duties in the police and security areas.

Major Mohammed bin Al Awadhi recently delivered a lecture in the Union Hall of the Police College in which he stated that the plan and the strategy of the Ministry of Interior focuses on the training outputs. The MoI also focuses on advanced education and training to ready the appropriate personnel to work as qualified police officers in order to enhance the security and safety in the nation.

In his lectures, he emphasized the importance of the police officers’ role; officers are qualified according to the latest sciences, knowledge, and modern training in order to serve the nation and work efficiently in the various police fields.  

He added: “Police and security work requires special talents and the ability to undergo the pressures of the police field while performing their duty to protect the security in society with responsibility, commitment, and sacrifice.”    
At the end of the lecture, a discussion was opened; the public made some inquiries that Major bin Al Awadhi addressed.
