The second blood donation campaign organized by the Directorate of Al Ain Police has concluded with as many as 300 volunteers of police officers, and staff members representing different sections and police stations of the directorate having responded to the drive in three weeks.
It was organized in cooperation with the regional Blood Bank of Tawam hospital in collaboration with John Hopkins.
Director of Al Ain Police, Brigadier Ajlan Al Ameemi affirmed that the campaign embodies the strategy of Abu Dhabi Police which aims at enhancing ties of communication with various government and private departments.
He thanked those who contributed to making this humanitarian drive a success for their support to thallasthemia patents and victims of traffic accidents who badly need of blood transfusion.
