Al Ain Traffic intensify pedestrians traffic awareness

In a bid to promote the safety of road users in various roads of Al Ain City to prevent pedestrians from crossing from undesignated areas, the Al Ain’s traffic and patrols section intensified its awareness efforts.

To this effect, the section distributed brochures to the public at the pedestrian crossing on main roads of the city, as part of the campaign themed “together towards reducing traffic accidents” which began last March.

Major Mohsen Saeed Al Mansouri, head of investigation and serious accidents at the Al Ain traffic section and head of the committee charged with reducing run-over accidents in Al Ain, clarified that the campaign aims to disseminate and promote traffic education among the entire sectors of the community.

He called pedestrians and motorists to commit themselves to obeying traffic rules and sticking to the predetermined speed limits, noting that to walk till you reach the pedestrian crossing is far better than sustaining a sudden accident.
