The Al Ain Police Directorate emphasized its readiness to welcome the Eid El Fitr holidays along with the public, by intensifying patrols to better ensure the safety of the public. This comes in line with the campaign "Your safety" launched by the Police Operations General Department of Abu Dhabi Police, in collaboration with the Security Media Department of the Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Security and traffic patrols will be deployed in locations expected to witness traffic jams and huge public turnout, such as markets, touristic locations and vital commercial centers in the city; in to prevent any traffic jams or accidents.
Colonel Mohammed Suhail Al Rashidi, Acting Director of Al Ain Police Directorate appealed to citizens and residents, to drive their vehicles carefully, urging parents not to allow their children to use firecrackers and fireworks, and not to let them play unattended in dangerous places such as streets and swimming pools during the holidays festivities, in order to ensure their safety.
Furthermore, the Community Police Department will extend congratulations to all citizens and residents on the occasion of the Eid, by organizing visits and meetings to communicate with them throughout the Eid days. Community Police members from the various police stations will also visit to patients in the hospitals of Al Ain, Tawam and Al Waha, to express their congratulations on the occasion of the Eid El Fitr, by distributing sweets and flowers.
