The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ajman recently celebrated its staff member’s graduation from two training courses. The courses were: “The Implementation of the Ministry of Interior Methodologies” course, and “Building Woman’s Capacity and Developing Her Management Skills” course. The courses were attended by 20 staff members from within and outside the general directorate and 16 female staff members of the department.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Brigadier Mohammed Abdullah Alwan, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ajman. Brigadier Alwan stressed the importance of acquainting staff members with the Ministry of Interior’s methodologies, which are in pursuance of the police leadership’s vision. This effort aims to improve police work through strategic planning and reaping the benefits by developing the Ministry of Interior’s services to its customers, which are estimated to account for roughly 25% of all federal government services.

“The methodologies are a road map to achieve the Ministry of Interior’s vision to make the UAE one of the world’s most secure and safe countries,” noted Alwan, underscoring the importance of honing the skills of women leaders to perform their role complementing the ministry’s goals.

Lecturer Dr. Ahmed Samara reiterated the methodology concept’s importance in developing administrative work, so that the institution achieves the highest standards of excellence. Furthermore, Dr. Samara urged the graduates of “The Implementation of the Ministry of Interior Methodologies” course to redouble their efforts to pursue measures that would enhance work performance on a practical level.
