The Al Ain Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department organized a lecture for the College of Law students at Al Ain University of Science and Technology. The lecture, given by Moza Khalfan Al Shamsi, legal researcher from the Legal Affairs Office at the Department, aims to acquaint students with the Entry and Residence of Foreigners Law. .  

The lecturer provided a presentation, explaining the various provisions of the law regulating the entry and residence of foreigners of different nationalities and groups, the types of visa entry and residency permits.

Al Shamsi also tackled the cases handled by the Department, notably those related to domestic helpers and their equivalent (maids, etc…) and means to resolve them as per a legal mechanism, taking into account preserving the rights of both the sponsor and the sponsored.

Furthermore, the lecture acquainted students with the advanced services provided by the Department to the public and reviewers at its headquarters, and across its various divisions and external offices.  It also introduced them to the mechanisms used to process and complete transactions in record time in accordance with quality requirements.

On the same note, Colonel Khalifa Matar Balquba' Al Humairi, Director of the Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department in Al Ain, welcomed the students from the various educational institutions in the country. “The Al Ain Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department is always ready to collaborate with educational institutions, and continuously endeavor to develop and promote partnerships with these institutions.  This embodies the Ministry’s vision and strategy aimed to strengthen partnerships, to maintain the community’s confidence”, pointed out Colonel Al Humairi.
