Abu Dhabi Traffic Department organizes awareness programmes for the clients
The Section of Media and public Relations at ADP Department of Traffic and patrols organized an awareness programme for Fines Branch customers, on Thursday. The aim of the programme was to educate them on traffic law, mistakes committed by drivers. The programme was part of the GCC 26th Traffic Week under the theme “Beware others mistakes”.
Major Ahmed Salim Al Niyadi, Head of the Section said “The programme included distribution of awareness publications about the use of seat belt, not using mobile phones while driving, exceeding speed limits and compliance with all traffic rules and regulations”.
The programme stressed the importance of safe tires so as to avoid incidents of tire bursts and the resulting deaths and injuries. They were advised on how to select good types of tires, replacement of worn out tires, and mechanical maintenance of vehicle especially during heat season.
