Abu Dhabi Residency Participates in Ramadan Councils
The Residency and Foreigners Affairs Directorate General at the Abu Dhabi Police, intends to participate in Ramadan Councils, which will be held by the people in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This participation introduces citizens and residents to its services, ways to benefit from them, and its development and quality improvements; the Directorate General will also receive suggestions on its services.
Colonel Salem Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Abu Dhabi Residency and Foreigners Affairs Director General, said: “Introducing the public to the Law of Entry and Residence of Foreigners enables them to be better informed regarding the required procedures, in order to avoid any applicable penalties. Additionally, a more in-depth knowledge will help the public to provide us with the correct and required documents allowing for a faster service and a more streamlined process.”
“Communication with the public is very important to the police leadership; we are committed to extending the borders of social partnership and empowering the public’s trust in the services that we provide to them. We also measure the level of satisfaction by communicating with different categories of society, in order to receive suggestions and opinions that help us to improve our service quality,” he added.
In line with the transparency and strategy of the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector, which aims to become one of the most distinguished sectors at the Ministry of Interior that envisions making the UAE one of the most secure and safest places in the world, this participation allows the public to share their opinions, ask questions, and discuss topics regarding residency and foreign affairs.
