In a one-week specialized course, the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters trained 17 of the Central Operation General Department staff to improve their performance through the Kaizen Japanese model. Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations, attended the graduation ceremony at the Rocco Forte Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The course shed light on the importance of adopting continuous performance improvement approaches and the principles of the Kaizen model, in addition to monitoring and developing the strategic thought process and the philosophy of comprehensive quality management.
Al Raisi stressed the importance of these courses in providing employees with necessary knowledge to continually improve work implementation, and gain new skills to increase efficiency in carrying out police projects.
He commended the compliance of participants and their interaction with the course material, wishing them success with the hope that they will impart what they have learned to their colleagues.
Concluding the event, the Director General of Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations General Department, in the presence of Captain Nasser Abdullah Al Saeidi, a liaison officer of the Central Operations General Department, distributed certificates to graduates.
Notably, the Japanese continuous improvement Kaizen model succeeded in achieving the least amount of waste in operations, resources, and time achieving high percentages of profits and financial returns; hence, there was significant attention given to this Japanese philosophy with the aim to introduce the staff to it, train them accordingly, and implement it in institutions and corporations.
