Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations, tackled the requirements of the electronic link project for the exchange of traffic information among the Gulf Cooperation Council countries on Sunday at his office with a Saudi Arabian delegation.
Major Al Raisi welcomed the Saudi delegation headed by Brigadier Mohammed Al Dreim, who is coordinating the implementation of this traffic information electronic link with the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Interior for GCC countries. This information exchange follows the recommendations issued at the 27th meeting of the GCC States Traffic Directors.
During the meeting, the attendants discussed the latest achievements and the results of UAE’s delegation visits in KSA. Major Al Raisi urged attendees to overcome obstacles and facilitate the tasks of all the employees in this project for its achievement.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Gaith Hasan Al Zaabi, Director General, Traffic Coordination Department, Ministry of Interior; Colonel Anwar Al Mulla, ICT Director; Colonel Barakat Al Kanadi, Head of Systems Development Department; Major Saif Al Zaabi, Director of Vehicles Licensing Branch in the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Directorate; and Lieutenant Mohammed Darwish, Director of Development and Analysis Branch in Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.
