The Teeth Print Team of the Forensics Medicine in the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters participated in the 21st Global Conference of Criminal Sciences and Forensic Medicine held recently in Australia.
The delegation included Captain Dr. Armanosa Fadel, Head of the Teeth Print Team of Forensic Medicine in the Abu Dhabi Police; First Lt. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Ismael; and Lt. Dr. Abeer Salem Al Matroushi from Abu Dhabi Police.
The participation of the UAE Team included delivering a lecture titled: “Challenges Facing Forensic Odontology: The Experience of the UAE Teeth Prints Team.”
Captain Armanosa Fadel mentioned that the lecture discussed the experience of the UAE Teeth Prints Team of Forensic Medicine in the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, as the representative of the UAE, noting that its experience was being taught at the local and global level.
She said that the lecture was met with great attention from the organizers of the conference, and received a wide response from major Australian TV and Radio networks such as ABC, which interviewed the UAE Team in order to introduce the public to the stages of its establishment, its tasks, and its participation on both local and international levels. The members of the team were also invited to be honored members in the Australian Society of Forensic Odontology, and the team participated in the annual plenary meeting of the Society.
