Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police, praised the humanitarian initiative launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, under the slogan “Thank You”. He pointed out that it has a positive impact on workers who provide services in both public and private institutions.

During the ceremony organized to honor 12 workers from the basic services field at the Purchasing and Stores Department, Major General Badran stressed that the basic services workers are the heart of all government and private institutions. “Their efforts are highly appreciated and recognized by all,” he said.

The Director General of Finance and Services expressed his thanks and appreciation to the honored workers. Present at the ceremony were Brigadier General Saeed Saif Al Nuaimi, Director of the Purchasing and Stores Department; Colonel Abdullah Ali Massoud, Deputy Director of the Purchasing and Stores Department; along with heads of sections and a number of officers.

It is noteworthy that the “Thank You” initiative aims to dedicate attention to this segment of society.  It reflects the keenness of the higher leadership to provide care and attention to basic services workers, in recognition of their efforts and commitment. This initiative also reflects the UAE’s policy, which stipulates respecting and honoring human beings, regardless of affiliation, nationality and office.
