A delegation from the Abu Dhabi Police Criminal Evidence Directorate attended a committee meeting to finalize preparations for the 17th Criminal Evidence Symposium in the Netherlands.  It will be held at the International Police Headquarters in October of next year in Lyon, France.

Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Director of the Criminal Evidence Directorate and head of the delegation, explained that documents prepared by the sub-groups related to criminal evidence have been proposed.

During the meeting, it was agreed to form a permanent committee for the Interpol that will be adopted from the high authority in the Interpol. The next meeting is set for February 19th in Washington DC in the USA.

The delegation also participated in the Criminal Evidence European Academy Conference events and meetings, which were held recently in The Hague and had a  participation of about 60 countries.

The meetings discussed the latest scientific technologies used in the criminal evidence field, as well as the worksheets and the presentations of the associations and laboratories participating in the conference.

The delegation visited the exhibition that was held on the sidelines of the conference displaying the latest findings of forensic science from developments and equipment.

The delegation held talks with Criminal Evidence Institute members in The Hague, the Netherlands on cooperation with the Institute in the scientific knowledge exchange in the field of criminal evidence.
