The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, represented by Colonel Mohammed Hamid Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development, signed a letter of intent today (Sunday) with the German Federal Criminal Police Office, represented by. Jörg Ziercke, chief commissioner of the Federal Criminal Police Office of Germany.
The event, held at the Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters, was attended by Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The letter of intent outlines the mutual cooperation for sharing expertise and providing support for police training, in addition to studies and research addressing law enforcement.
In presence were Brigadier Mohammad Rashid Al Shamesi, Director of the Diwan (court) at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier General Salem Ali Al Shamesi, Deputy Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police; Colonel Saud Al Saadi, of the Secretariat General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; and Major Abdullah Mohammed Al Kaabi, Acting Director, Abu Dhabi Police Research and Decision-Making Support Center representing the UAE side.
The German side included the German Ambassador to the UAE, Nikolai von Schöpff, and the accompanying delegation of the Chief Commissioner of the Federal Criminal Police Office of Germany.
