ADP intensifies safety efforts for "Tul Murib" Race
The Directorate of Western Region Police continues its efforts to enhance the security and safety of participants in Tul Murib Race with intensive presence of security, traffic and awareness agencies.
Colonel Hamad Saeed Al Dhahiri, Director of the Western Region Police Directorate said that the presence of the Directorate reflects its interest in joining the communities in all its activities and events, to enhance trust and cooperation between police and the community members.
He urged the public to take utmost precautions at the racing spots for their safety. Participants shall carry with them a map for the site of the race and the roads leading to it, particularly those who participate for the first time.
They may seek the patrols help if they need any such information. They must be very careful or else may get lost in the desert. They should not hesitate to call Central Operations Emergency number (999) or Liwa City Police Station for help.
