The Ports Security Institute at the Ports and Airports Security Department at Abu Dhabi Police celebrated the graduation of 54 participants after completing four one-week specialized courses in a number of police sciences.
Head of the Control, Inspection and Follow-Up Section at the Ports and Airports Security Department of Abu Dhabi Police, Colonel Mubarak Saeed Al Mansouri, attended the graduation ceremony, noting that training police members embodies Abu Dhabi Police’s strategy to qualify its cadre according to international-best standards and practices.
He underscored Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to keep abreast of developments in all police and security fields, to ensure that the Abu Dhabi Emirate remains a society that enjoys security and safety, by providing high quality police services to all citizens, residents and visitors alike.
Colonel Al Mansouri congratulated the graduates, valuing their efforts to develop their competencies by regularly attending the courses. He called on them to pursue further excellence, to enhance the level of performance in all areas, so as to serve the country and maintain its gains.
For her part, Lieutenant Colonel Naima Salem Awad, Training Branch Manager at the Ports Security Institute indicated that a total of 54 participants from the various police departments, including one participant from Lebanon, attended the four specialized courses. They were acquainted with a number of police tasks pursuant to their respective jobs.
At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Mansouri distributed certificates to the graduates, in the presence of a number of officers and officials from the Department.
