3 injured in collision by LPG truck and light vehicle in Abu Dhabi
Two persons severely injured and the driver of a LPG truck was sustained medium injuries when the truck collided with a light vehicle after Al Shahama bridge in Abu Dhabi, yesterday.
Major Muhsin Al Minhali, Director of Traffic Control Branch of the Highways Traffic Section at ADP Traffic and Patrols Department said the accident happened due to speed on slippery road. The truck turned over where its driver two passengers with him were injured.
He urged companies and drivers of LPG trucks to abide by safety and traffic rules. Drivers should may more attention due to the inflammable nature of these trucks cargo. Trucks should take the right-hand lanes, should park trucks in residential areas and they should keep safe distance between vehicles.
